How do I sign up for rides?

To sign up for rides, you must first create an account on our website. Once you have created an account, you will be able to select various “Ride Packages” or you may purchase a single ride. Once you have purchased your credits, you may start to sign up for rides. When you select your ride day and time, you will then be able to select your bike on the studio diagram.

 

 

How far in advance can I sign up for rides?

You may sign up for any ride 14 days in advance.

 

 

How do I cancel a ride?

To cancel a ride, login to your account here, select my schedule and cancel the ride of your choice.

 

 

This is my very first indoor cycling class. What can I expect?

What is so unique about indoor cycling is how accessible it is to all fitness levels. It’s YOUR ride! As a beginner, our studio staff will help you set up and adjust your bike so you are comfortable and properly positioned. You can ride at your own pace and modify your resistance on the bike as needed. Our instructors will coach and guide you during the ride and will always demonstrate modifications for all fitness levels.  We are happy to offer a mini-intro, before a scheduled Ride at no cost for new Riders.  Just send an email to fierceinfo@cyclefierce.com to give us a heads up.

 

 

What if I need to cancel a ride?

If you wish to cancel a ride, you must do so 8 hours in advance of the scheduled ride. If you cancel within the 8-hour window, your ride will be credited to your account. If you cancel after the 8-hour window has lapsed, you will forfeit one ride credit. The same applies to “no-shows;” if you do not show up for a ride you are registered for, you will still be charged for that ride.  This policy also applies to unlimited packages.  However, you will only be charged a $10 fee if you do not show up or late cancel on a sold out Ride.

 

 

What kind of clothes should I wear?

You should wear exercise clothes and we suggest close fitting cycling shorts or bottoms when you ride.

 

 

shoeDo I need to wear special cycling shoes?

Our bikes have dual sides on the pedal.  One side is for athletic shoes and the other is for cycling shoes equipped with cleats or clips. We use SPD or compatible cleat attachments (see photo). We strongly encourage you to wear cycling shoes with SPD clips, so you can “clip into” the bike. You will experience a far better ride with greater power, and you will feel more secure and connected on the bike. We have partnered with COLONIAL BICYCLE COMPANY in PORTSMOUTH for all of your cycling needs.  If you choice to wear athletic shoes, please make sure they are dry and free of any debris.  Salt, sand and mud will cause bike damage.

 

 

Where can I store my belongings?

We have storage cubbies and hooks to hang your jackets. A member of our staff will always be at the front desk but we ask you to please leave your valuables at home.

 

 

Can I shower at the studio?

The studio will feature two bathrooms/changing rooms and a shower.  

 

 

Will you provide water and towels for class?

Yes to both. We have a free “hydration station” at the studio. Bring your water bottles and fill them up as much filtered water as you need.  We also have bottled water for purchase. Towels will be provided for every ride.

 

 

Where do I park?

Fortunately, we are located in a shopping plaza with ample parking. There are parking spots directly in front of the studio and a huge open parking lot just around the corner.

Absolutely! We have FIERCE swag (caps, tanks, and other fun items) in the retail section in the studio. Check it out!  Our swag makes a great holiday or birthday gift!
